Dummy Shots

Here are the dummy shots we took of our video. We did these as a tester so that when it came to the final production of it, we had a better idea of what would be needed in the editing process. 

The first scene uses a layering effect on Final Cut where there are 2 Becca's on the screen at the same location. This was a little difficult to do on our own, and so needed the help of Adam to show us how to gain the effect we wanted. It was difficult keeping the camera still in order to gain 2 of the same shot as it was tilted down at an angle, and was not supported by the tripod. Although the shot is edited, it is not what we intend to film for our music video, this was just to show the process we will be using.We will be spending more time and applying more effort to our real video, in order to make it more polished and neat. 

In the second shot is a cut-frame whereby we stopped recording and then started again, after I (becca) had moved to a different position. This enabled a smooth and well timed transition which allowed to edit the parts we wanted together giving the illusion of movement
